Well I finished the Last of Us and I gotta say it was as good as they say. Initially it wasn't as 10/10 as everyone said but it grew out and played perfectly.
I'm gonna keep this spoiler free so don't worry to anyone that wants to play the game in the future.
When I spent the 80 for the game I was unsure. Not into those post apocalyptic Shooter games but this was different. This wasn't so much about the setting but the relationship between a man who has been living in a torn world where he has nothing to do but survive and a girl who's been forced into experiences a 14 y.o should never go through. It's an emotional story right from the first scene and had many moments that had me speechless and emotionally involved.
You become so attached to the two main characters that you forgive them for what they do, as you begin to realize there isn't such thing as morality, you just do what you have to in order to survive.
The ending is abrupt and you question the last few moments of gameplay greatly and you wonder if ... Okay won't say anything else in case of mild spoilers.
If you have a ps3 you must play this game. But be warned. It's got serious themes that are very confronting. If you want to borrow it off me just shoot me a FB inbox , there may be a waiting list though. I probably won't play the New Game+ mode until the emotions of my first play through wear off which is going to be a long time, that's how good it was.
On a different note, going to Girra tomorrow to a special F1 in schools promotion event that's happening in the MPC on a request from my teacher last year. It's good to know you aren't forgotten. In fact last time I went to Girra it sounded like my teachers genuinely missed me. Or maybe I'm just saying that to make myself feel good.
Anyway take care readers. Now with the last of us ending in my head I'll probably struggle to sleep. And now that I've finished it, I've got over a month of holidays with no new game to play aha. :(
