anyway I'm gonna memorise my essays now, cause the English syllabus is stupid and doesn't encourage proper thinking. I'm hoping they ask for a speech or something for creative or crap, so that it's actually a test of critical thinking and not regurgitation which is more a test of intelligence than the useless HSC English subject as it currently stands
